25.09.07 New Look & New Stretch Wrapping Film

Integrated Packaging and Integrated Machinery, Australia’s largest manufacturing specialist of stretch film wrap and equipment have recently launched their new look websites.

The sites feature up to date news, product information and brochures as well as company details and links to the Integrated Packaging Group subsidiaries.
Integrated Machinery showcase their popular Excell range of semi and automatic stretch wrapping equipment plus their fully automatic and custom made wrapping machines. Integrated Packaging display all products from their industrial and agricultural stretch film range with key stretch film differences, product specifications and contact details.

Rob Archibald, General Manager Sales & Marketing, felt that the business was not accurately reflected in the previous websites. ‘We are at the forefront of technology with many of our stretch film and machinery products,’ he said. ‘Our new websites are now a reflection of this and they are a much better tool for visitors wanting to know more about our products.’

In line with this contemporary approach, Integrated Packaging has also been working on a next generation stretch film designed to maximise productivity specifically for fully automated machine users. This film is of a lower gauge than conventional stretch film, offering cost effectiveness, yet has proven (with substantial data) to retain if not improve on the strength properties of the film.

‘This product will be another world first for Integrated Packaging’, Archibald says. ‘It will not only benefit our customers but it will raise the bar for the whole market in terms of quality and performance.’

The next generation film is currently being trialed in the marketplace with targeted high volume/fully auto users. With the testing data showing excellent results it’s likely to be highly successful for Integrated Packaging and its customers.

08.12.06 - IP’s NEW Excell 4 Stretch Wrap Machine

• Features: Operated from forklift with automatic wrap system.
• Benefits: Reduces risk of muscle strain and injury, runs any stretch film and increases pallet wrapping productivity.

The Ex-Cell 4 is an automatic, remote control run stretch wrap system. It is used for pallet wrapping to secure and ensure load stability. Operated from a forklift and transportable, this clever unit takes any stretch film and completes the whole wrap cycle in three steps.

The soft start turn table has a two tonne capacity with an extended column to wrap up to 2.7M high. The machine adjusts at the top and bottom and its built in photo eye detects various pallet heights.

This model runs off a single phase power supply and automatically pauses for film break or run out. It also features easy to read controls and easy to access service components, requiring minimal maintenance.

Offering variable carriage and turn table speed, it comes with the option of conveyor to reduce double handling, as it uses on less forklift compared to a single turn table system. This increases pallets wrapped per hour improving plant flow and productivity, while saving floor space and reducing product damage.

The Ex-Cell 4 model joins Integrated Packaging’s Ex-Cell machinery range, which are all available in various applications and can be designed and installed to suit any need and budget.

1.12.2006 - New & Improved Excell Pre-Stretched Film

Integrated Packaging, Australia’s largest stretch film manufacturers have further improved their revolutionary pre-stretched wrapping film.

Excell Pre-Stretched Film is manufactured to improve productivity and to enhance workplace safety via easier handling and fast wrapping techniques.

It can be used instead of conventional film to wrap pallets and other valuable loads.
Proven to produce better results for your business, Ex-cell’s light rolls, easy stretch properties and walk forward wrapping techniques reduce OH&S issues like muscle strain and injury.
Ex-Cell also uses less film which produces less waste, saving costs and the environment.

This pre-stretched film is suitable to use in any industry, for any pallet wrapping purpose in either hand or machine application.

As it is a blown stretch film, rather than a cast film Excell has greater strength to secure loads. It weighs 50% less than conventional film and requires only 7kgs of tension, as opposed to conventional film’s 15kgs, reducing the operator’s effort by around 50%.
As such, it minimises injuries like muscle and back strain and is suitable for any operator, male or female. It also ensures operators don’t trip over as it wraps walking forward rather than backward.

By being pre-stretched operators only have to apply an extra 10% stretch, which is 40% less than conventional film. This light weight and user friendly film increases the number of pallets wrapped and, as it uses less film overall, it achieves the minimum cost per pallet wrapped. It offers a higher tear resistance and greater cling as well as improved scanning properties.

Ex-Cell is available in a wide variety of lengths, widths, gauges and colours to suit just about any stretch film application.
For the ultimate stretch wrapping performance, let your business Ex-Cell!
